    I have had a passion for hunting since i first began at the age of twelve. Its kinda hard to explain the feeling that this sport imposes on me everytime i hit the woods. Its like being hooked up to a nonstop IV of adrenaline. Whether its the work of planting that food plot that you know will draw that Buck of a lifetime, or the anticipation of checking game cams in hopes of catching even the smallest glimpse of his head gear, or the feeling you get when you walk up to him , kneel down and pet the rack that in three months will be on your wall. (by the way i love to pet big bucks) These are the things that make my heart beat at moch 12. These are the things that make my blood flow like its falling from a 200 ft water fall. These are the things that make my hands sweat and speech slurred. These are the things that build the passion thats within me!!!!!!


    I have set a different set of goals each year. This year i guess what im striving for is to see my family succeed. I want them to experience the things that i have when deer hunting. If my wife and boys all harvest a shooter buck this year , then it will be a success. If they fail to do so , then i have failed as a teacher. I know thats alot of pressure, but with out it we get lazy. The pressure is what im relying on to drive me to be what they need. I know i probley sound to serious about this to some people. But thats ok, this ain't piano lessons.................this is DEER HUNTING!!!!!

I am a Florida Cracker...born and raised right here in the Sunshine State. I started going hunting with my Dad when I was in three cornered crap pants...ya know diapers. I didn't believe him when he told me this but unfortunately for me, Mom has the picture evidence to give the utmost enjoyment to my family. Thanks for saving those Mom. I took my first whitetail when I was 11, and have been a hunting addict to the max since. Over time, my true passion became bowhunting. I'm an up close and personal type guy...so what better way to chase whitetails. Besides, the adrenaline rush from being that close to a whitetail is intense.

I set new goals every year, so here's my top two.

1) Get Chase his first whitetail(can be difficult in Florida)

2) Harvest my first P&Y whitetail

No matter what this hunting season brings, a bad day hunting is always better than the best day at work.
