To sum it up, I'm just a small town country girl. Born and raised in a little town in northeast Louisiana. As a child growing up, camping, fishing and hunting was a big part of our family’s life. It wasn’t until I married my husband that I really got into the hunting part. I started out doing a little of the small game and soon began deer hunting. About ten years ago I picked up my first bow and was lucky enough to harvest a six point on my first hunt! Needless to say, I was hooked! About six years ago I was invited to join a group of ladies in Mississippi for a women’s bow hunt, what an awesome weekend that was. I didn't kill a big buck but the experience I had with all those ladies will never be forgotten. Through the years I have had the opportunity to meet back up with some of the ladies. Each time we do this the group would grow with new ladies. What an exciting feeling to see more and more ladies getting involved in the outdoors. My thanks to D A Outfitters for putting this ladies hunt together and giving us the opportunity to come together as a group, share the camp life and be a part of the great outdoors.

Hunting at DA Outfitters October 3rd thru 6th ,,,I am so pumped about this trip , this is an all womens hunt.. I am looking farward to meeting all the other ladies that will be there and hopefully get a chance at one those awesome bucks that Kentucky grows!
Then leaving for Illinois on the 13th of November,,,how cool is that! I've never been north hunting and now I'm making two hunts up there in the same season,,yeah baby!!!
I learned to hunt 15 years ago in MS but last year we bought land in Louisiana. I think it has good potential for some nice bucks, our season here opens on October 1st so I will hunt the day before I leave for Kentucky. Sure hope to put one on the ground before I come up there! Sort of break the ice if you know what I mean.
Keep you posted! Lets Make it Happen!
